Christin Bela – Photographer | Visual Storyteller

Christin Bela’s journey into photography began long before he fully understood its power. Born in Mbanza Ndounga, Republic of Congo, he grew up watching his father—a cinematographer and photojournalist—frame the world through a lens. At just six years old, he held his first camera, an old Zenith film camera, unknowingly stepping onto the path that would shape his future.

After finishing high school in Congo, his curiosity and ambition led him across continents. His journey began in China, but the call of new experiences drew him further into Southeast Asia, where he lived for over seven years. Each place, each culture, and each moment added depth to his perspective, refining his ability to tell stories through images.

Since 2016, Christin has been based in France, continuing to explore the world through his lens—one frame, one story, and one journey at a time.
